CNB Bank to Feature Local Photography in 2015 Calendar - Enter Your Photo Today!
June 16, 2014
Due to the positive response from participants and customers who have enjoyed previous year’s CNB Bank wall calendars, the 2015 wall calendars will again feature photos of CNB’s market area in Western Pennsylvania, this year with the theme, “Railroad”. Examples of photos depicting the theme could be train stations, crossings, signs, landscapes with a train passing or train tracks.
Local residents, whether they are beginner, amateur or professional photographers, are encouraged to submit one or two of their photos online. Photos can be submitted through August 1st.
On Wednesday, August 6, 2014, thirteen winners, including a Best of Show, and twenty-four honorable mentions will be selected and their photos will then be printed in the Bank’s 2015 wall calendars, which will be distributed to customers in November. The winners will be announced Friday, August 8, 2014.
CNB initiated this contest to provide an avenue to feature local talent and the communities in which the Bank serves through the eyes of residents as they’ve captured with their camera.
“Over the years we’ve received fantastic entries of landscapes, animals and photos depicting hometown pride.” Joe Bower, President & CEO of CNB Bank continued by saying, “By featuring ‘Railroads’ for the 2015 calendar, we hope to provide a calendar of photos to our customers that they can cherish and that depicts a sense of how the railroad industry is a part of our communities.”
CNB is now accepting photo submissions on the web site. Each entrant can submit up to two photos. For details on the contest and photo requirements, visit the Contest Submission page.
CNB would like to encourage everyone to participate and wish all photographers, beginner to professional, the best of luck!
