CNB Bank Hires Pfingstler as Vice President of Commercial Banking

Joseph B. Bower, Jr., President and CEO of CNB Bank, recently announced the appointment of Karin R. Pfingstler to the position of Vice President of Commercial Banking.
In this position, Ms. Pfingstler will be a part of CNB Bank’s commercial lending division in the DuBois, Brockway, Punxsutawney and surrounding markets and will play a significant role in the larger more complex commercial loan relationships. She will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with businesses of all sizes including all commercial credit needs. Ms. Pfingstler will work from the Bank’s DuBois office located at 1574 Bee Line Highway, next to the DuBois Mall.
Ms. Pfingstler has several years of banking experience, where she has held the positions of Branch Manager, Business Development Officer and most recently, Assistant Vice President/Corporate Banking. Prior to her banking career, she served as Executive Director of the DuBois Area Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director of the DuBois Area United Way, and Assistant Executive Director/ Program Director for the DuBois Area YMCA.
Raised in Brockway, Karin graduated from DuBois Central Catholic High School in 1978 before attaining her degree in Political Science from Clarion State College in 1982. Since then she has furthered her banking education by graduating from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s (PBA) Central Atlantic School of Commercial Lending at Bucknell University in 1996, as well as the PBA’s Advanced School of Banking in 1999.
Karin offers her education and experience to the area and strives to enhance her self-development by serving for various community organizations. She is a council member for the Jefferson County Development Council, member of the DuBois Area School’s Educational Foundation Board, Board Member of the Catholic Charities and Adoption Counseling of the Diocese of Erie, Member of the DuBois Regional Medical Center Development Committee, Member of the Loan Review Committee of North Central Regional Planning and Development Commission, and Treasurer of the DuBois Area High School Boys Soccer Boosters. Karin previously served as a board member of the DuBois Area Chamber of Commerce and was awarded as the recipient of the organization’s Silver Ribbon Award in 2007. She has also previously served as President of the Clearfield County Industrial Development Authority and President of the DuBois Rotary Club.
Karin resides in Treasure Lake with her husband, Tom, and they have five children, Meg, Tim, Anna, Andy, and Mike. She is a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church in DuBois.
